Crystal Classics was formed in the early 1990s by Ian Bruce, fuelled by a life long passion for collecting minerals, and an unquenchable fascination with their form, beauty and sheer variety. He spent much of his youth collecting specimens around England, and studied Geology and Mineralogy at University. Crystal Classics was born in the early nineties as a vehicle to sell some of the mineral specimens collected during his trips to Australia. It has grown ever since and blossomed into one of the best sources for high quality mineral specimens worldwide.
Crystal Classics exhibits at all the major mineral shows worldwide (Tucson, St. Marie, Denver, Munich) and has been involved in the dispersal and sale of some of the world's finest mineral collections over the last few years. We are well known for handling top quality classic minerals, and have supplied some of the world's finest and rarest specimens to both private collectors and museums worldwide.
Ian has two staff, Robin and Luke, based in the Crystal Classics' office located in a quaint village in the rolling English countryside. They hold the fort whilst Ian travels the world looking for new specimens, and collections for sale. |
